LAST SWIM - Saturday 11th July
The water level at Sywell has now dropped to a point where the entry/exit point is no longer suitable for swimmers, so we've made the disappointing decision to close for the rest of the season.
This is due to the draining of the reservoir by NNC for a government project, as well as evaporation from the recent hot weather.
Apologies to all our community, and thank you for your continued support this season. We will return in April with the full 600m course (assuming we get some rain between now and then!)

Welcome to Sywell Open Water Swimming.
Set in the beautiful Northamptonshire countryside, Sywell swimming opened in 2019, with the aim of providing a safe and accessible swimming environment for all abilities.
We are a charity run entirely by an amazing team of volunteers, whole feel passionately about the benefits this sport and community offers. We offer extensive safety cover both on and off the water with experienced trained staff, meaning you'll always be in a controlled environment.
We meet swimmers from all backgrounds, from nervous first-timers through to experienced athletes training for their next event. Whatever brings you to the water, we want to everyone to share the same fantastic experience. Come and join one of the fastest growing sports in the UK!
